Species by the Thousand

Erica Bradbury returns to Homemade: brooklyn this June with her popular collection of jewelry and apparel. Bradbury started Species by the Thousand in 2006, by joining together her illustrations, paintings and appreciation of organic design with reclaimed metals and recycled fibers. She says that her selection of original shirts and accessories are influenced by “outsider worlds of moons, seventies guys, witchcraft and bearded men.” We are so happy to have the amazing Species by the Thousand back with us.

Beetle & Flor

Beetle & Flor is created by Christine Facella. Facella has designed a collection of porcelain skulls influenced by North American wildlife. From her work as a science illustrator for the Vertebrate Paleontology department at the Museum of Natural History in New York City she has been able to capture an organic yet modern look to her work. Every hand crafted skull has is unique and will be a “do not miss” at our June Homemade: brooklyn

P.S. Don’t forget to also check out the Beetle & Flor Blog.
